What a great early morning tune from the queen of Afro-futurism herself. This track has so many throwbacks to certain Prince songs but its a pop ballad through and through. You'll be hearing this a lot everywhere. I'm personally looking forward to her new album  Django Jane.

Batuk is a creative collective founded by South African electronic music producers Aero Manyelo and Spoek Mathambo; along with the prolific artist and vocalist Manteiga. Fresh of the very hot Kendrick Lamar Black Panther soundtrack (and the even hotter film) is a track which stands out on the album for its bold over the top-ness. But its such a fun track that doesn't take itself too seriously as observed from this bananas video which has visual delights with every frame.

"Black girl magic, ya'll can't stand it"

Man, this track and this album are so lit. Impressive rap from Janelle but an even more impressive music video. It's bringing to mind a lot of Kudzanai Chiurai's visual motifs.

Kanye's classic track has been performed entirely by talented pianist Ramin Djawadi. Westworld fans will recognise this from the season two trailer. Ramin is also the talented composer of the Game of Thrones opening credit score. Available on iTunes.
